1. Logging into the User Portal

  1. Visit the user portal:  https://portal.towardssustainability.be
  2. Enter your login credentials (email and password).
  3. If this is your first time, click on Accept Invitation in the email you received to set your password.

Access to the Portal:

  • To access the portal, at least one person from your organization must receive an invitation from the CLA Secretariat. If no one in your organization has received an invitation yet, you should contact the CLA Secretariat (info@towardssustainability.be) to request access. The first person granted access will receive superuser status, allowing them to manage users within the portal.
  • Superusers can invite additional users by navigating to the Users section of the portal. These invited users can submit applications but cannot add other users.
  • There can be multiple superusers within an organization if needed. To request additional superusers, an email should be sent to the CLA Secretariat.
  • If needed, superusers can revoke access for specific users by clicking on 'Lock' next to the user's name.

2. Reviewing Contacts and Billing Information

Before submitting an application, it is recommended to ensure your institution's contact and billing details are up to date, but this is not mandatory. You can also start an application without updating this information first.

  1. Navigate to the Contacts section and verify that all contacts are correct. Edit existing contacts or add new ones if needed.
  2. Navigate to the Billing Addresses section, review existing billing details, and update or add new billing addresses as required.

3. Submitting an Application

Navigate to the Applications section, where you can:

  • Submit a New Product Application
  • Apply for a Label Renewal (if available)
  • Apply for a Label Extension (if available)

New Product Application

  1. Create a New Product:
    • Enter the product name, type, contact person, and billing address.
  2. Provide Required Documents:
    • Download, fill, and re-upload the application letter.
    • Upload a filled-in conformity matrix and any supporting documents (if applicable).
  3. Review Contacts & Billing:
    • Ensure all contact and billing information is complete.
  4. Submit the Application:
    • Click Submit Application (modifications are no longer possible after submission).

Label Extension Application

  1. Select Products:
    • Choose the products for which you wish to request an extension.
  2. Complete Product Extension Details:
    • Answer required questions either directly in the browser or by downloading, filling out, and re-uploading an Excel file.
  3. Provide Required Documents:
    • Download, fill, and re-upload the extension letter.
    • Upload your formal engagement policy aligned with QS 2023 expectations (targets, escalation procedures, etc.).
    • Upload any supporting documents (if applicable).
  4. Review Contacts & Billing:
    • Assign primary contacts and billing addresses for each product.
    • It is also possible to add the primary contacts and billing addresses in bulk.
  5. Submit the Application:
    • Click Submit Application (modifications are no longer possible after submission).

Saving and Resuming an Application

You can save your application at any time and return later to complete and submit it.
